Well the other week, off we went to the Welsh Mountain Zoo, which lived upto it’s name…. It’s in Wales, it’s on a mountain and it’s a zoo… i think we’ve been spoiled by having Chester Zoo so close, it wasn’t bad but i felt the enclosures where all a little TOO small… got some OK photos…

Well during the holidays we went on a few trips, this one was upto fountains abbey near ripon as they had THREE different deer, Red and Fallow as we’ve seen before but also Sika Deer which are Japanese

Just a random update, to tell anyone who hasn’t visited to visit… New theme and all that – plus the new gallery is taking shape… but this is mostly to check if the twitter plug-in is working and passing to facebook. And an old photo to test another plug-in

Not as comprehensive as Chester Zoo, a lot more monkeys which meant a lot more glass, and harder photos to take… but got some really nice photos… was just upset that their Asiatic Lions had been lent to Dudley Zoo

Well after our 1st visit was thwarted due to Health & Safety, we went back a few days later… Not really that Snowy in the animal compounds but all the animals were really active, probably trying to stay warm…

I would advise making a visit to the zoo in winter, it’s a lot less crowded…

Well we waited till the last possible moment, and the seals had dropped from 4,000 to about 400 but still got some great photos, and have already put the date in our diary for next year

Well was quiet blogging over X-mas but was out and about doing lots of photos, and a few upgrades to this (coming soon) so hopefully in the next few days i’ll have some new photos up… and a new gallery soon too…
