After the Two Cities Boat Race last weekend, we sent an e-mail to the Manchester School of Samba and found out they were playing around the corner from us on Saturday, so decided to pay them a visit again, this time they were on the move around Stockport Town Center, so lots of backtracking and running to keep them a “safe” distance away

What a busy few days I’ve had, 2 gigs, a street festival and a quick trip to Lyme park again… So I’m going to be able to post a set of photos each day this week… They will be as follows…

Well that was a long title… but it includes everything… I’ve separated them into separate albums, but thought i’d just do one post

The first lot of photos are of the Dragon Boat Race & The Two Cities Boat Race, to be honest these aren’t my favourite, but they are of the people rowing

The second set of photos are of the Cheerleaders (Manchester’s, I missed Salford’s) and some Samba Dancing from The Manchester School of Samba

and thirdly is the things that wouldn’t fit in the other two, including some wildlife & some HDR shots

Well today has been quite good fun so far, applied for a couple of jobs, came to Chester about 1-ish and spent 4 hours wondering around the zoo and getting lots of photos and chatting to one of the keepers, getting as much info as I could, which today was “wear zoo keeper green” and the anaimals will come to you and “baby meercats” after leaving the zoo, copied all photos onto my mini-laptop and formatted the cards or the gig tonight, The Indelicates. Am currently sat in the pub after just having something to eat… Now the wait for the gig to start, hopefully not too long…

Well, thought i would add a way for people to buy some of my photos as either, prints, posters or cavases. Some of the sizes will mean a crop in someway, but thought i’d let everyone know… to buy just go into the gallery, find the photo you want and then in the top right click on “Add to basket”, choose the size and then you can pay through paypal

Well, I’ve added a load of links to either bands I’ve photographed, places I’ve photographed and other photographers…

Well, i started to reach the limit of my other host, so have moved to a place that is slightly cheaper than i was on, and i have a lot more room & bandwidth… I also chose this moment to update to some new gallery software – this does mean that the current posts are slightly wrong – i need to update the photos… but this should be done in the next couple of days… and my tweets of this don’t seem to be working…

Well I’ve got a random tagline generator running now… the bit under Parry’s Photos at the top… 99% are stolen from a song by The Indelicates (who have photos on here) called “Burn all The Photographs”

Well i’ve re-arranged the gallery, added sections, so if people just want to see gig photos they can do… which means to see what new photos have appeared, it will be easier to just check the main blog

Well, it usually happens but i’m behind with my photos again…
to come some birds & waterfalls from Etherow Country Park and some photos of “Everybody was in the French Resistance… Now” from Birmingham and hopefully also coming this week some more “EWITFR…N” photos
